About Me

I’m Julie Trent, a Registered Mental Health with over 30 years experience within healthcare as a clinician, leader and quality assurance manager. I’ve worked clinically in acute, low, medium and high secure mental health services, and prison healthcare as a senior manager. I have also worked in corporate services as a mental health quality and policy lead, and for the last few years as a clinical and quality expert within Health & Justice commissioning.

Greenhills Clinical was established to provide independent consultancy to organisations across the healthcare sector. Whether working with NHS providers, commissioners, or independent health organisations, my focus is on helping organisations improve quality outcomes, meet regulatory requirements, develop new services and deliver lasting organisational improvement.

I understand the realities of delivering safe effective healthcare in complex environments. My experience spans operational leadership, quality assurance, commissioning, governance and service transformation, enabling me to provide practical, evidence-based support tailored to each organisation’s needs.

Whether you need independent assurance, support to improve quality, prepare for a CQC inspection or develop new services, I provide practical clinical and strategic expertise tailored to your organisation.
